About MEP DC
MEP DC provides BIM coordination and Revit modelling for all building services: mechanical, electrical and plumbing. We find and resolve clashes in the model, before anything reaches site. MEP DC was founded by Erjon Gjevori, a BIM Specialist with over 18 years’ experience in building services.
How we work
Most problems on site come from clashes nobody spotted in time: a duct running into a beam, or a pipe through a cable tray. We would rather find those in the model, so every service is checked against the structure and against each other before drawings go out.
Whether it's one system or all of them, the approach is the same: a federated model, a clash check every week, and drawings and schedules taken from a model that has already been checked.
Our founder
Erjon has worked in building services for over 18 years as a BIM Specialist and Revit MEP coordinator, for more than twenty consultants and contractors. He began his career as a junior mechanical engineer, working on heating and ventilation calculations and plant sizing, before choosing to specialise in BIM. That engineering grounding is in every model he builds. Along the way he has worked at Capita Symonds and Buro Happold, and later with NDY, BIM3, CAD Scope, Red Engineering and Ridge & Partners, mostly on projects from RIBA Stage 2 through to 5.
Day to day that means federated Revit models split into worksets, a TIDP and a shared CDE set up to BS EN ISO 19650, and a clash check every week. He started on hospitals and schools, then moved on to large London projects, and today much of the work is on data centres.
When a task keeps being done by hand, he writes a Revit add-in for it. Those are now available as MEP DC Tools.

Building services BIM on around 70 projects, mostly hospitals, schools and public buildings. This is where Erjon learned Revit MEP.
Junior mechanical engineer
Heating and ventilation calculations and plant sizing, before moving into BIM. It’s why the models are built with the design in mind.
