Which Revit and AutoCAD versions are supported?
Revit 2020 to 2027. Sheet2PDF, Block2Family and Schematic2Revit support 2022 onwards. Lines2Block runs in AutoCAD 2021 to 2027, including AutoCAD MEP and the other verticals (not AutoCAD LT, which doesn’t allow add-ins). New versions are supported soon after release.
Does one licence work in both Revit and AutoCAD?
Yes. The tools share one licence manager, so a Full Suite key activated in Revit also unlocks Lines2Block in AutoCAD on the same PC, and the other way round.
How do I receive my licence key?
By email, straight after checkout. You’ll find it on your receipt and in your customer account. Paste it into MEP DC → Licences in Revit or AutoCAD.
How many computers can I use it on?
One licence is for one user, who can activate it on two PCs. To move it to a new PC, deactivate it on the old one from the same Licences window.
Does it need an internet connection?
Only to activate and for a short check about once a week. The tools keep working offline for 30 days. Offline licence files are available for secure or air-gapped offices.
What happens when a perpetual licence’s 12 months are up?
Nothing stops working. You keep the version you have for good. Renew if you want updates for new Revit versions and continued support.
Can I upgrade from one tool to the Full Suite?
Yes. Email us within 12 months of buying and we’ll take what you paid off the Full Suite price.
Personal or Business licence: which do I need?
Choose Personal if you are buying with your own money for your own use, for example as a freelancer, sole trader or student. If a company or other organisation pays for the licence, reimburses you for it, or you use it as an employee for your employer’s work, you need Business. Both have exactly the same features. A Personal licence can’t be transferred to a company, but you can upgrade by paying the difference. See the licence agreement.
What’s in the packs?
Coordination Pack: ClashSift, Clash2Clear and Services2BWH. Productivity Pack: Sheet2PDF, eSift, Version2Version and Links2Path. Electrical Pack: Block2Family and Schematic2Revit, with Cables2Tray added when it launches. Each pack is one licence key and one download, and costs less than buying the tools separately.
Do you offer refunds?
Please use the free 14-day trial before buying. If something isn’t working as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll fix it or refund you. Once approved, a refund can take up to 10 working days to reach your account, depending on your bank or card provider. See the refund policy.
Can I ask a question or suggest a feature?
Yes, please do. Use Ask a question or suggest an idea on any tool, or email info@mep-dc.co.uk. Many features in the tools came from users’ suggestions.
Who processes the payment?
Payments are taken securely through our payment provider, or by invoice and bank transfer for company orders. You receive a VAT invoice with every order.
