Who is responsible

What we collect

When you buy: your name, email address, billing country, company name and VAT number if given, and the products bought. Payment card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and never reach us. When you activate a licence: the licence key, a computer name and the Windows user name, sent to our licence provider to check the licence and its activation limit. No model data, drawings or project files ever leave your computer. When you email us: your email address and what you write. When you visit this site: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site remembers your light/dark choice in your browser only. Fonts are loaded from Fontshare and checkout scripts from Lemon Squeezy, which receive your IP address as part of loading those files.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

To supply and support the licences you buy (contract); to keep financial records and meet tax rules (legal obligation); to prevent licence misuse and keep the Software working (legitimate interests); and to send product updates only if you've asked for them (consent).

Who we share it with

Lemon Squeezy, who process orders and payments as merchant of record and provide licence keys; our email and website hosting providers. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records for 6 years (UK tax rules); licence records for as long as the licence is active plus 12 months; emails for up to 2 years after our last contact.

International transfers

Lemon Squeezy and some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email info@mep-dc.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
